What is prostatitis?

by JoAn Healing 2020. 8. 9.

The prostate gland is a body organ that is only for men and is located below the bladder, covering the urethra and making most of the semen. Prostate inflammation means an inflammatory disease of the prostate, but it is said to be diagnosed as a symptom because germs do not always cause it or show inflammatory changes.Symptoms of prostatitis are pain and urination. It is said that pain appears mainly in the testis penis and waist and can occur during urination and assessment.Urine symptoms include a lot of irritating symptoms that require frequent urination, difficult to urinate, and residual urine. Some patients complain of erectile dysfunction.Prostateitis is the most common urinary disease among men under the age of 50, and is the third most common condition among men over the age of 50. According to recent statistics, about half of American men visit hospitals for prostate disease more than once in their lifetime.Prostateitis can be divided into acute and chronic, and bacterial and non-sterile depending on urinary and prostate fluid test findings, but 95% are chronic non-sterile prostatitis. In the case of non-sterile, the source of the disease is not certain. Currently, the activity of pelvic muscles and cones increases, which increases the pressure of prostate urethra, resulting in chemical inflammation as urine flows back to the prostate.Other results include inflammation caused by viruses, instability of bladder, bladder neck, and sphincter and bladder dissonance. If you have symptoms of prostatitis, you should check your urine test and prostate fluid test for inflammation of the prostate, and if the inflammation is not confirmed, you can conduct a functional test of bladder and urethra to find out the cause. If germs or inflammation are identified, first treat them with antibiotics. Prostate tissues should be treated steadily for one to three months because antibiotics do not easily penetrate.Chronic non-sterile prostatitis also requires one month of antibiotic treatment first.Recently, biofeedback and pelvic muscle contraction exercise have emerged as effective treatments. Repeated pelvic muscle contraction movement relaxes the pelvic muscle and urethral medial muscles, which have increased activity.Recently, heat therapy to treat prostate with high fever and electrostimulation treatment of pelvic muscle have been attempted, but there is controversy over its effectiveness.
